DIPO FESTIVAL WEEKEND TRIP (2 DAYS)

Day 1 (18. April 2020):
In the morning we will pick you up in an air-conditioned vehicle: Accra location of your choice. We continue towards the Krobo mountains to visit the traditional Dipo festival.

This is a festival also known as puberty rites, a celebration that initiates adolescent girls to womanhood. Watch the colorful celebrations where the girls wear beautiful beads!

Spend the night at the banks of Volta River. 

Day 2 (19. April 2020):
 In the morning we do a relaxing canoe ride on Volta River.

Visit Shai Hills early in the morning to spend some time watching the local wildlife, like kobs and baboon troops. Afterwards we will visit the famous Cedi Beads Workshop,

where you will be shown the manufacturing process. In the afternoon we continue our journey back to Accra.
